Pilatus is an aerospace manufacturer and is recognized as one of the only Switzerland based companies to develop, produce and sell aircraft internationally and around the world.

Founded in December 1939. The company employs approximately 2,000 employees at its head office and is considered one of the largest employers in Central Switzerland. Most of the aircraft produced by Pilatus are meant for niche markets. Such as short takeoff and landing, along with military training scenarios.
