Cessna Aviation Company

While being founded in 1927, Cessna was later purchased in 1985 by General Dynamics. As years progressed, in 1992 Cessna was then purchased by Textron Inc., where they currently remain today. Cessna is recognized as a general aviation aircraft manufacturing corporation which is located in Wichita, Kansas. They are well known for their Caravan turboprops, classic piston aircraft and Citation business jets.
 
Textron Inc. later added to their product line in March 2014 when they purchased Beechcraft and Hawker Aircraft.
